Art in the Window from 17 Oct - 14 Nov 2026
Sculpture, painting, photography, blown glass, ceramics, printmaking, installations, textile art and optical art: more than twenty artists are taking over Neuchâtel’s shops to create a surprising cultural trail that is accessible to everyone.
From fantastical worlds and reflections on our society to tributes to nature, explorations of perception and poetic narratives, this edition highlights the richness and diversity of contemporary artistic creation.
And to take the encounter with the artworks and their creators even further, join one of our guided tours. These special moments offer a unique opportunity to discover the stories and ideas behind the artistic approaches, exchange with the artists, be inspired and see the city from a fresh perspective.
During the opening tour, all the artists will be present and will introduce you to their creations as you make your way from one shop window to the next. Each artist will take the time to present and discuss their work, share their inspirations and answer visitors’ questions.
Three groups will set off in turn, following a unique journey through the shop windows and the different artistic worlds of each participating artist.
