Welcome to Arty Show Davos, in the heart of the Graubünden Alps.
The highest city in Europe, host to the World Economic Forum, combines an international atmosphere with exceptional natural experiences. Here, scientists, conference attendees, sports enthusiasts, culture lovers, and visitors from around the world feel at home.
More than 100 years ago, Davos was already a popular and renowned destination for artists, particularly in the fields of music, literature, and visual arts. It is no coincidence that Thomas Mann, after visiting his wife Katia who had come here for treatment, created The Magic Mountain, a masterpiece of world literature. The expressionist Ernst Ludwig Kirchner also left his mark and enriched the cultural life of Davos. The Kirchner Museum in Davos provides further insight into this subject.
We want to reconnect with this era in Davos and restore the visual arts to their rightful place in the cultural life of the city.
