ARTY SHOW OPEN CALL – Aarau – 6ᵉ Edition

Art in the Window from 3 Apr - 1 May 2027

For its sixth edition, ARTY SHOW is once again transforming the Old Town into an open-air gallery. For one month, 20 artists will showcase their work in 20 local businesses, bringing art into everyday life and inviting everyone to discover the city from a different perspective.

This year, evening tours will enrich the experience. The committee also aims to go a step further by exploring new ways of bringing art into the city. Fountains, balconies, public spaces and unexpected locations could host artistic interventions, creating dialogues between the artworks, the architecture and shop windows.

In this way, ARTY SHOW continues to pursue its ambition: to make art accessible, vibrant and present throughout the city, to foster encounters and invite the public to look at their everyday surroundings with fresh eyes.
